Rhino Uganda

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Visit Top of the Falls

Depart early from Kampala and drive North-west towards Murchison Falls National Park, passing through scenic countryside and local towns. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot—the only place in Uganda to see wild rhinos. After lunch, continue to the park, arriving in the afternoon. Proceed to the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the Nile crashes through a narrow gorge, creating a powerful and photogenic waterfall. Enjoy the breathtaking views and thunderous sounds before heading to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Leopard Uganda

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Victoria Nile

Begin your day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the park, the best time to spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly leopards. The open savannah offers excellent photography opportunities. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Victoria Nile towards the base of the falls. This cruise offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birdlife including kingfishers and fish eagles. The highlight is approaching the base of the mighty falls from below. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Chimpanzee Uganda

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest Reserve & Return to Kampala

After an early breakfast, transfer to Budongo Forest Reserve, located in the southern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. This rich tropical rainforest is one of the best places in Uganda for chimpanzee trekking, known for its high concentration of habituated chimpanzees and diverse birdlife. Upon arrival, you will receive a briefing from experienced rangers before heading into the forest to begin your guided trek. The search for chimpanzees can take some time, but once located, you will spend a memorable hour observing their behaviors—feeding, playing, and communicating in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for a quick refresh and lunch. Later, begin your journey back to Kampala, enjoying scenic countryside views and optional stopovers along the way. You will arrive in the evening, marking the end of your 3-day safari.
